Dan really couldn't care less about the speedster. His timeline didn't even exist anymore, why should he care about a single time travelling speedster that he could kill without putting any effort in it?

He was more preoccupied with the fact Danny and Dani had been expelled from their third daycare because "they were not equipped to take care of meta toddlers".

Bullshit. They were just anti-meta fuckers.

He was already lucky Ms. Mercy agreed to give him a day off yesterday so he could look for another daycare but none of those he deemed acceptable had some places so today it was CW who would babysit.

Dan was nearly sure that Ms. Mercy and their boss didn't believe the two little menaces were his siblings and not his children but given the contract Mr. Luthor had wrote to extend his internship period it could be for the best.

The company had a daycare not very far from the main building, exclusively reserved for employees' children and heavily reinforced in case of attack. While his previous contract was only for a 3 months long trial and did not qualify him for it, the new one would last a year, qualifying him for most advantages that a post in this company could provide.

He still needed to sign the damn contract he just wanted to take a few more days to make sure the man didn't hide anything in it. Now to drop off the little shits somewhere the speedster wouldn't notice a portal or anything weird.

It wasn't because Dan, personally, didn't have to worry about the annoying fuck that he would risk the man deciding he couldn't let him keep the Dannies.

 So Dan knows that there’s heroes that have gone back in time, he’s aware of that fact. But he doesn’t exactly care and has more important things to worry about. Like the fact that Danny and Ellie are now three years old, right when he’s moving, though maybe that’s a blessing in disguise seeing as the GIW are searching for them in Amity. 

  But still, he has more important things to worry about than the speedster vibrating five feet away from him. Like making sure Ellie and Danny are alright to visit (ugh) Peepaw Clocky while he goes to work. 

  Ms. Mercy is not messing around, which he appreciates in a workspace, but he has to wait for another opening in the daycare before he can bring his, as far as everyone else is aware, siblings who he got emergency custody of. 

  What with how Jazz is interning in Gotham, they figured Metropolis would be safer. Now if the speedster would stop following him, he would really appreciate it. He’s literally just an intern under Ms Mercy as an assistant, not even one of the scientists, and it’s not like his timeline of the end of the world exists anymore!
